My true passion has always been EVERYTHING HOME DECORATING! I can look back and clearly remember my obsession as a young teenager for rearranging my bedroom furniture and begging my parents to let me update my bedroom décor, decades before DIY TV shows became popular!
I studied Economics which helped me to understand the system of production and buying and selling of goods and services, laying a solid foundation for managing my own future business. This led me to New York City to study Textile and Surface Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology in my final year of my undergraduate studies. This art and design major focused on Woven design, Decorative Fabrics Studies, The Study of Color, Fundamentals of Screen printing and Home Textile Studies. This program helped build a unique and strong skills set preparing me for a career in Fabrics, Home furnishings and as a Home Stylist.
These studies motivated me to establish my own Custom Art Design business, even while raising my two sons, focusing the latter half of my 19 years in business creating Decorative Painted art pieces and Custom Decorative Mural work. This work got my foot in the door to many client’s homes to begin sharing my decorative eye and talent to enhance and beautify precious living space in their homes.
I have had the most pleasure focusing my time and energy assisting others with beautifying and updating their living spaces. I pride myself on providing the most stylish solutions that are not only doable, but can be done on a reasonable budget. Great style does not have to come with an expensive price tag! I prioritize following each person’s individual budget as a guidepost to my decorative suggestions. I challenge myself with each and every project to find the most updated and best solutions at the most competitive cost. I provide the same high level of passion and focus to deliver the very best decorative assistance to my clients whether I am managing a complete kitchen or bathroom renovation project or searching for a single, phenomenal piece of artwork to hang over a fireplace mantel.
