A client’s decision to finally repaint outdated, oak trim throughout their entire lower living space and the addition of newly- painted neutral walls, created the perfect backdrop to produce a fresh, updated and cohesive, open living space. Decorative Assistance was needed to select the perfect area rug to define the sitting space after replacing old wall to wall carpet with beautiful, dark, wide-plank hardwood flooring. New window treatments were recommended to provide options for controlling light and privacy, complemented with decorative panels to add pattern and interest to the space. A Contemporary, abstract floral art piece was selected to hang between the two windows to be widely viewed throughout the entire first floor, strategically complementing the sleek, black metal lighting accents and decorative elements throughout the entire space. Now the open family space cohesively flows and complements the recently updated new kitchen area.
